Gerade bin ich über das Wireframe-Kit für Google Docs von Morten Just gestolpert. Die Idee Google Docs als kollaborative Plattform für das Entwickeln von Wireframes zu nutzen finde ich sehr interessant.

The Axure RP 6.5 Beta is now available for download at www.axure.com/beta. The focus of this release is to make it faster to build interactions and lay out widgets, add inline text links and rotating shapes and images, and include a handful of popular feature requests like animated scrolling and pinning panels to the browser window. There will be a valid beta until the final release so your work will not be interrupted. Please expect to run into bugs while using the beta. The Mac version had a significant change to its plumbing and we expect there to be issues that we haven’t discovered yet.
Axure RP 6.5 will be a free upgrade for all Axure RP customers. Yes. You read that right. Any license for any version of Axure RP will be valid for 6.5. Why? Because Axure RP 6.5 files will not open in earlier versions and we want everyone to be able to work with the latest files without having to buy a renewal. You’ll be able to download 6.5 and start using it right away.

witflow stellt ein Cheatsheet mit den gebräuchlichsten Shortcuts für Axure RP zur Verfügung. Das Cheatsheet steht im PDF-Format in 2 Versionen, in einer Windows und einer Mac Version, zum kostenlosen Download bereit. Ausdrucken, unters Kopfkissen legen und verinnerlichen. Ganz nützlich könnte es auch auf dem Schreibtisch sein.

Das Besondere am Niehaus-Wireframe zeigt sich dann, wenn man sich bestimmte Regeln setzt, wie z.B. die Begrenzung des Einsatzes von Call-to-Actions auf max. 2 CTA‘s. In diesem Moment wird man sowohl als Gestalter und Konzeptioner, aber vor allem auch als Stratege gezwungen, über Zielgruppen-Clusterung, Darstellungsqualität und Produktvielfalt stärker nachzudenken, man wird gezwungen „relevant“ zu sein.

Wireframing Tools gibt es wie Sand am Meer, davon sind einige auch als Web-App verfügbar und somit nicht an einen Standort gebunden. Das erste Tool, welches ich kurz vorstellen möchte nennt sich Hotgloo. Hotgloo ist ein Flash-basiertes, englischsprachiges Online-Tool mit dem man interaktive Wireframes und Clickdummys erstellen kann. Das deutsche Startup schickt die von der Hamburger Agentur superReal umgesetzte Online-Applikation ins Rennen der Wireframing-Tools.
